Like Haiti the community is in need of your assistance as we gather donations to assist the needs of the Front Porch Community. Many are giving like yourself. And many are taking in donations. The sad thing is most donations will go to large organizations who will use them for other purposes like what happened under Katrina. The Red cross got all that funding that was sent over seas. We are dedicated to getting direct aide to tfulfill our mission. The fruits of your donations shall make it to the people directly through our services. You may donate any amount you wish. All we ask is that you please give.
What we can do to help for Haiti now & beyond
I met with U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday and with other key U.N. leaders to discuss Haiti's immediate and long-term needs. Those who are still alive under the rubble must be found. The bodies of those who have died must be taken away. Power must be restored and roadways cleared.
